Dr. Khan was born in New York but grew up in the Chicagoland area. She completed her medical school training at Dow International Medical College in Pakistan, followed by a Master in Public Health in Public Health Management from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, KS.

After completing her three year family medicine residency training in 2024 at Roseburg Family Medicine Residency Program in Oregon, returning to the Tri-City area to become a physician at Fox Valley Medical Associates was a logical choice being a 2009 St. Charles East High School graduate whose first professional job was located in Geneva.

Dr. Khan is a pet-lover and has a domestic shorthair tabby cat named Bernie, a white munchkin cat named Gucci and a golden brown Pomeranian dog named Prada. Besides spending time with family and friends, she enjoys reading (especially Harry Potter and Dan Brown novels), watching true crime and medical TV shows, using educational apps like Duolingo and Deepstash, eating desserts, playing badminton, and doing puzzles & escape rooms.
